POST TITLE: Student Funding Adviser Scale 6 POST REFERENCE: Student Engagement Team SALARY: Support Salary Scale 6 £26,615-£28,273 per annum pro rata HOURS: SFA- Full time, 36 hours per week, 52 weeks per year LOCATION: Wood Street, Colindale and Southgate Closing date: INTERVIEW DATE: Wednesday 28th July 2021 W/c Monday 9th August 2021 Student Funding Adviser - Proven experience and knowledge in relation to compliance with LSF, ESFA etc funding. Ability to understand and disseminate key messages around eligibility for LSF funding to all students and staff. Applicant will be responsible for the tracking, monitoring and input of funding on to the college database systems in a timely manner as well as s ensuring compliance with audit/funding requirements. Current knowledge and experience of financial assessment and budget monitoring and have a good understanding of Government funding for FE students is also required. Minimum qual - i.e. relevant Level 3 or equivalent with grades A*-C in English and Mathematics. Good experience of working effectively with centrally established computerised systems, including a good standard of word processing, database and spreadsheet skills. Proven ability to organise, manage and coordinate the collection and collation of large quantities of data to produce agreed outcomes and be able to keep all data confidential, complying with GDPR. The ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines is paramount, as is the ability to work well within a team.
