Get With The Kids Vibe provides an exciting and enriching holiday camp experience for children, offering a wide range of activities designed to encourage creativity, confidence, and active play in a fun, safe, and supportive environment. We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic Activity Leaders to join our Team for the April 2025 half-term camp. As an Activity Leader, you will be responsible for engaging groups of children in structured activities, ensuring their safety, well-being, and enjoyment throughout the day. This is a self-employed role, ideal for individuals with experience working with children in an educational, sports, or childcare setting. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and supervise a variety of structured activities, including arts & crafts, team games, sports, and spring themed challenges. Some camps will be located within trampoline parks and therefore will include trampolining and related activities. - Encourage participation, teamwork, and positive social interactions among children. - Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants at all times, following safeguarding and health & safety procedures. - Support children in building confidence and social skills through engaging activities. - Assist with setting up and packing away equipment and activity materials. - Communicate positively with parents, carers, and the wider camp team. - Monitor and respond to children's needs, ensuring an inclusive and supportive atmosphere. - Maintain accurate records of attendance and report any incidents or concerns as required. Requirements: - Experience working with children in a holiday camp, childcare, education, or sports coaching setting. - A fun, energetic, and engaging personality with a passion for working with young people. - Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. - Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies. - First Aid and Food Hygiene qualifications (or willingness to obtain them). - An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one before starting).
