A special performance by poet Cheryl Moskowitz and virtuoso lutenist Sam Brown to celebrate the launch of their new album Wayward Thoughts recorded at Forty Hall, and featuring musical works ranging from the Elizabethan age to contemporary, threaded through Moskowitz’s powerfully personal poetry.
Cheryl is a celebrated poet and novelist, familiar to the Enfield community for her extensive work in schools and cultural centres.
Lutenist Sam Brown has performed internationally as a solo and ensemble player and is especially known as an interpreter of lute-song. His previous collaborations include a remarkable all-night performance of Gilgamesh at Oxford University with poet Alice Oswald.
This event is part of the Enfield Poets Literary Festival.
The Enfield Poets Literary Festival is a celebration of words, voices and creativity in our community, bringing together established and emerging writers for readings, workshops, discussions and more. This year marks the 25th anniversary of Enfield Poets, making the festival an extra special occasion.
